Deposit Policy: We require a credit card at the time of reservation in order to guarantee the reservation. We will charge the credit card on file for payment in full 48 hours prior to your scheduled tour or shuttle reservation.

Cancellation Policy: We require at least 48 hours notice of cancellation. For reservations canceled 48 hours or more prior to the scheduled tour or shuttle there is no penalty for cancellation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour or shuttle will forfeit the entire deposit. For cancellations made for reasons outside of the guest's control (such as airline delays / cancellations or travel delays due to weather) we will make every attempt to reschedule the tour or shuttle. In the event that we are unable to reschedule, a full refund will be given.

Information

Guided Tour Overview: Our tours are scheduled to be 2.5 hours from the time that we pick you up at your lodging accommodation until the time that we drop you back off. Expect to spend 1.5 to 2 hours riding. We begin each tour with a safety / riding skills overview. We will then ride for approximately 45 minutes before taking a break for snacks and water. We will then ride for approximately 45 more minutes before returning to the trailhead. The allotted times may vary slightly.

Bikes: Our mountain bikes have front shocks and disc brakes. We carry a variety of sizes and we will make the necessary adjustment to seat height for the maximum comfort of each rider. The minimum age requirement for children riding is 8.

Trailers and Trailercycles: For children under 8 years old we offer Bike Trailers (ages 1-4) and Trailercycles (ages 5-7). These devices are attached to the parent / guardian's bicycle for the tour.

Helmets: Helmets are required and are included in the tour. We will size each participant with a properly fitted helmet.

Group Size: Our maximum group size per guided tour is 8 riders.

Weather: On average 93% of summer days are sunny in Lake Tahoe. Daytime temperatures are usually in the 70s and 80s, though occasionally we do experience temperatures in the 90s. Humidity is generally low but there can be instances of afternoon thunderstorms.

Attire: We recommend comfortable clothing; jeans, shorts or sweatpants/yoga pants with a comfortable t-shirt. We suggest that you also bring a sweatshirt, windbreaker or a jacket. Sneakers or similar comfortable footwear is also suggested. Sandals are not permitted.

What to Bring: We suggest bringing your camera, sunglasses and sunscreen.
